Job Summary
This exciting opportunity at Barts Health NHS Trust is to work as a Student Midwife on the 24 month Postgraduate Diploma in Midwifery course. The program is designed to produce competent, caring, research and evidence-based midwives, capable of delivering effective woman-centred care for mothers and their families within dynamic, rapidly changing and diverse contexts.
Main Duties of the Job
This role will involve attaining a registered midwifery qualification, communicating effectively with women and their families, and providing a high standard of midwifery care throughout preconception, antenatal, intra-partum and postnatal periods under the supervision of the Registered Midwife/Mentor.

Key Requirements
- To have at least 6 months post qualification clinical working experience as an adult nurse on the NMC register in the UK
- To have current knowledge of Midwifery practice
- To be able to work in a multicultural environment
- To have effective listening skills
- To have good standard of written and verbal communication at all times
