About the Role

The Berkshire Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Clinical or Counselling Psychologist, or Psychotherapist to join our team. As a specialist in mental health therapy, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality evidence-based psychological interventions to adults in Berkshire.

As a key member of our IMPACTT team, you will play a vital role in providing Mentalisation-Based Treatment (MBT) to individuals struggling with Emotionally Unstable Personality Disorder (EUPD). You will work closely with colleagues to assess risks, implement strategies, and ensure the safety and appropriateness of interventions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver individual therapy and group sessions using Mentalisation-Based Treatment (MBT)
  • Participate in MBT supervision and contribute to the development of the therapy model
  • Assess and monitor risks, collaborating with colleagues to implement effective strategies
  • Engage in regular supervision sessions to support your professional growth and provide supervision to others

Essential Qualifications: Doctoral level training in clinical or counselling psychology, registered with the Health Care Professional Council (HCPC), and accredited with UKCP. Experience in providing supervision and consultation is also required.

Salary Estimate: £40,000 - £60,000 per annum, dependent on experience.
