Job Title: Continuous Improvement Practitioner
">About Us:
As part of the Transport UK Group, London Northwestern Railway delivers over 1,300 train journeys a day, serving more than 60 million passengers annually across its two brands. We are dedicated to providing a safe and reliable service by investing in our fleet, stations, and employees.
The Role:
We are seeking a Fleet Continuous Improvement Practitioner on a full-time, permanent basis based in Birmingham with regular travel across all Depots.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess current processes to identify inefficiencies and areas for improvement.
- Implement lean methodologies, CI Core Tools, and other process improvement tools to streamline workflows.
- Develop and maintain performance reports to track the success of improvement initiatives.
- Present data-driven recommendations to management for process enhancements.
- Lead and manage continuous improvement projects from initiation through completion.
- Coordinate with departments to ensure timely and effective implementation of process changes.
- Educate and train employees on continuous improvement tools, methodologies, and best practices.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business Management, Operations, or a related field.
- Certification in Lean, Six Sigma, or other relevant continuous improvement methodologies.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and make data-driven decisions.
- Excellent project management skills with the ability to lead multiple projects simultaneously.
