HR Support Specialist

A reputable brand based in Bournemouth, Dorset is seeking a HR Administrator to join their small HR team on a part-time, temporary basis until June 2025. The role involves providing strong administrative support, contributing to the strategy by working on projects, and implementing new initiatives to move the department forward.
Key responsibilities include:
- Providing first-line support on HR queries, including contracts, policies, and pensions.
- Coordinating recruitment activities, including drafting ads and managing staff requisitions.
- Handling the new starter process, from offers to onboarding and payroll setup.
- Ensuring compliance with right-to-work checks, references, and certifications.
- Maintaining up-to-date documents, systems, and reporting (e.g., payroll, sickness, surveys).
- Supporting training, reward, and recognition activities, including STAR awards and salary reviews.
- Assisting with benefits administration, invoice coordination, and intranet updates.
