Dynamic Floor Operations Manager

Job Summary
Dorsett Hospitality International Limited is seeking a skilled and experienced Floor Supervisor to join our dynamic Housekeeping Team at Dorsett City London. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for overseeing the activities of room attendants, floor porters, and agency staff to ensure exceptional standards of cleanliness and service are maintained in our guest rooms, back of house, and public areas.
Main Responsibilities
- Lead and direct the room attendants and porters to ensure seamless service delivery.
- Supervise the distribution of work assignments to room attendants and porters to optimize productivity and efficiency.
- Respond to guest requests and enquiries in a professional and courteous manner.
- Motivate and inspire the team to deliver exceptional service and maintain a respectful rapport with guests and colleagues.
- Collaborate closely with the Front Desk team to ensure a smooth flow of serviced guest rooms as per occupancy requirements.
- Report any maintenance issues or defects found in the rooms and assigned areas to the relevant departments.
- Ensure that soft furnishings and décor of rooms are maintained to the highest standard, reporting any defects or special cleaning requirements to the Housekeeping Manager.
- Conduct training sessions to enhance the skills and knowledge of the team.
- Deliver daily briefings to the team to ensure everyone is informed and aligned with the day's objectives.
- Working knowledge of property management systems, such as Opera, is highly desirable.
