Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Substance Misuse Recovery Specialist to join our team in Clacton on Sea, Essex. As a key member of our Multi Agency Team (MDT), you will play a crucial role in delivering secondary support to families open to social care.

About the Role

The successful candidate will promote family members involvement to improve outcomes for children, engage high-risk families with substance/alcohol misuse problems, and provide advice on screening and clinical interventions. You will work within the MDT to complete assessments with impact and outcome analysis, utilizing evidence-based interventions such as motivational interviewing and ITEP.

You will review ongoing care and treatment, liaising closely with partner agencies, and provide support in engaging with the right services at the right time. Your responsibilities will include working with other agencies involved in the client's broader care plan, developing and delivering a recovery-focused model, and contributing to the overall performance of the service to achieve contractual output targets.
