About the Role
We are seeking an Occupational Therapy Support Specialist to join our team at Dunnock View. As an Occupational Therapy Support Specialist, you will work under the supervision of an Occupational Therapist to support the delivery of structured activities and assist in the planning for individual and group therapeutic interventions.

Responsibilities
- Assist Occupational Therapists, Nurses, and other multidisciplinary team staff in the assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of individual care plans.
- Support service users to achieve their goals and access appropriate services.
- Maintain adequate records, entering details in the service user healthcare records.

Requirements
- GCSE/O-Levels (A-C) or a relevant NVQ2.
- Experience in a similar environment & Mental Health.
- Verbal and written communication skills.

About You
As an Occupational Therapy Support Specialist, you will contribute to the assessment, monitoring, evaluation, and modification of structured activities to measure progression and ensure effectiveness. You will also build one-to-one rapport with service users to encourage participation in activities and empower recovery. Our team provides treatment for men and women who may have suffered trauma and are affected by mental health disorders. We use a trauma-informed care model to focus on length of stay, ensuring individuals can move as quickly and safely as possible from the service to the most appropriate and least restrictive environment. Service users may be suffering from Acute mental illness, Psychosis, Schizophrenia, Bipolar, Personality Disorder, Dual diagnosis, Self-harm, Substance misuse issues.
