Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Regulatory Change Oversight Specialist EMEA to support Senior Management in the day-to-day efforts related to 1LoD regulatory compliance with regulatory rules and policies. The successful candidate will have a thorough understanding of the financial services industry regulation and be well-versed in the interpretation of regulatory text and the formulation of regulatory policies and procedures.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Facilitate and oversee the regulatory change implementation across the NTAM EMEA business, ensuring operational readiness and traceability to minimize regulatory risk and enable effective handover to BAU teams.
  2. Manage regulatory change implementation through project management techniques, coordinating with BAU/functional teams and ensuring adherence to the corporate regulatory change framework.
  3. Proactively oversee and maintain the NTAM regulatory change model, monitoring adherence to the corporate regulatory change framework and making recommendations on required changes by the business.
  4. Communicate with internal and external parties as needed, representing NTAM EMEA and legal entities at relevant internal regulatory forums and committees.
  5. Produce relevant metrics and reporting on the effectiveness of the regulatory environment in Asset Management, associated Boards, and legal entities.
  6. Anticipate project risks and escalate in a timely manner to drive decisions by project groups.
  7. Lead training and communications with partners to promote a robust risk and regulatory aware culture.
Requirements
  • A College/University degree or relevant professional qualification.
  • At least 5 years of work experience in the investment management industry, with a demonstrated track record within regulatory change in mid-to-large investment management firms.
  • Proficiency with investment products, change management methods, and report writing.
  • Thorough understanding of the Investment Management industry and financial services.
  • Project management techniques and process understanding.
  • Excellent analytical skills, with the ability to identify problems, develop, and communicate strategic solutions.
  • Compelling communicator with the ability to adjust communication style to audience need.
  • Proven influencing and persuasion skills to successfully implement change and influence decision making with key stakeholders.
