Vendor Experience Manager Job Description



Amazon Fresh UK is seeking a talented Vendor Experience Manager to join our team. The successful candidate will have a background in buying, category management, or vendor management and a strong understanding of joint business planning and vendor negotiations.



The role includes leading the annual negotiation cycles, understanding and addressing vendor pain-points, ensuring full compliance to regulatory bodies, and creating best practice vendor communication plans. The candidate will have responsibility for developing and executing a highly productive approach to annual negotiations and supporting the buying teams through identifying opportunities and inventing mechanisms to enable improved data and insight across the buying team.



Key Responsibilities:




  • Act as the 'business owner' for annual vendor negotiations across UK Fresh, managing a full P&L, including planning, forecasting, and driving growth to meet and exceed revenue and profitability goals.
  • Develop and execute annual Vendor comms plan to engage our partners around our strategy and growth plans.
  • Understand vendor pain points dealing with Fresh UK and work cross-functionally to unlock improved experience for Vendors.
  • Generating and implementing big ideas to drive business improvement, innovation, and scale across categories.
  • Driving negotiations and representing Amazon when meeting with senior leaders.
  • Have a thorough understanding of seasonality and global trends/events, and continually monitor competitor/industry developments.
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams that support business needs, including EU colleagues, marketing, private brands, to ensure alignment to plan.


Basic Qualifications:




  • Experience with business analysis and P&L management.
  • Experience negotiating with internal and external stakeholders.


Preferred Qualifications:




  • Experience driving direction and alignment with cross-functional teams.
  • Experience in account management, project/program management, or buying.
