Engineering Leadership Specialist

We are a leading company in the Nuclear Decommissioning sector, offering a unique opportunity for a Project Engineering Manager Lead to join our team. This role involves providing technical leadership and guidance to multidisciplinary teams to deliver design and engineering solutions.
We are looking for a seasoned engineering professional with experience in technical leadership, ideally from the Nuclear industry. You will have a strong background in project delivery, team management, and business development, with a proven track record of driving quality and performance across projects.
The ideal candidate will have significant experience in managing multi-disciplinary teams, overseeing project execution, and supporting business development. You will be responsible for delivering design and engineering solutions, ensuring budget, quality, and schedule targets are met. Your ability to drive quality and performance across projects will be critical to your success in this role.
We offer a competitive salary of £120,000 - £150,000 per annum, depending on experience, plus benefits including a comprehensive pension scheme, life insurance, and private healthcare. This is a remote position, with occasional trips to our head office in Whitehaven area.
The key responsibilities of this role include:
- Leading and managing multi-disciplinary technical teams to deliver design and engineering solutions.
- Overseeing the execution of projects, ensuring budget, quality, and schedule targets are met.
- Supporting business development by identifying and developing new opportunities and contributing to tender submissions.
