We are seeking a highly skilled Registered Mental Health Nurse to join our Secure Services Directorate at Langdon Hospital. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality care to individuals with complex and severe mental illness.

The successful candidate will have a strong background in psychosocial assessments, social inclusion, and independence development. You will work closely with our multidisciplinary team to deliver evidence-based interventions and promote recovery-focused care.

We offer a range of training opportunities to support your professional development, including manual handling, first aid, and food handling. You will also have the opportunity to develop your leadership skills and experience in shift coordination.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive psychosocial assessments to inform care planning
  • Develop and implement recovery-focused care plans
  • Work collaboratively with the multidisciplinary team to deliver evidence-based interventions
  • Provide leadership and support to junior staff members
  • Participate in training and professional development opportunities
