Mental Health and Learning Disability Nurse

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our team at Devon Partnership NHS Trust. As a Mental Health and Learning Disability Nurse, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care and support to individuals with learning disabilities and complex mental health needs.
About the RoleThis is an exciting opportunity to work in a dynamic and supportive environment, where you will have the chance to develop your skills and expertise in a specialist field. As a Registered Nurse, you will be responsible for assessing care needs, developing and implementing individual care plans, and providing named nurse role to people who use our service.
Key Responsibilities- Assess care needs and develop, implement, and evaluate individual care plans
- Provide named nurse role to people who use our service
- Promote and improve quality of service provided
- Manage the unit in the absence of Service Manager/Team Leader
- Participate in the internal rotation system, including weekend working and nights

Person SpecificationWe are looking for a Registered Nurse with a Level 1 qualification in Mental Health/Learning Disability Nursing and a degree or HE Diploma level. Essential skills include working knowledge of using common computer programmes, willingness to undertake further training, and evidence of taking responsibility for meeting compulsory and essential training in previous posts.
