Mental Health Nurse

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our team at Devon Partnership NHS Trust. As a Mental Health/Learning Disability Nurse, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care and support to individuals with mental health conditions and learning disabilities.
About the RoleThis is an exciting opportunity to join our dedicated team and make a real difference in the lives of our patients. As a Registered Nurse, you will be responsible for assessing care needs, developing and implementing individual care plans, and providing named nurse role to people who use our service.
You will work as part of a multidisciplinary team to support the assessment and treatment of adults with a learning disability on the unit. We are committed to the ongoing training and development of all our staff and offer a range of opportunities for career progression.
Key Responsibilities- Assess care needs, develop, implement and evaluate individual care plans.
- Provide named nurse role to people who use our service.
- Promote and improve quality of service provided.
- Manage the unit in the absence of Service Manager / senior staff nurse.
- Participate in the internal rotation system, including weekend working and nights.

Person SpecificationWe are looking for a Registered Nurse with a Level 1 qualification in Mental Health/Learning Disability Nursing, a degree or HE Diploma level, and evidence of taking responsibility for meeting compulsory and essential training in previous posts. You will also have a working knowledge of using common computer programmes such as email, internet, and word-processing.
