Learning Assistant

We are seeking an experienced Learning Assistant to join our SEN team at Academics Ltd. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing tailored support to students with special educational needs, working closely with teachers, therapists, and other support staff to deliver a well-rounded educational experience.
About the Role:
This role involves supporting students with varying needs in and out of the classroom, assisting in the implementation of individual education plans (IEPs) and behavioural strategies. You will need to be a compassionate and patient individual who can foster a positive, inclusive, and safe learning environment for all students.
Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with teachers, therapists, and other support staff to deliver a well-rounded educational experience.

Ideal Candidate:
A minimum of two years of experience working as a Teaching Assistant in a specialist setting, or equivalent experience in care or as a support worker. Experience working with autistic learners is preferred but not essential. A genuine desire to support and inspire students is essential. Strong communication skills and the ability to work well as part of a multidisciplinary team are also required.

Salary and Benefits:
