Associate Professor in Education

Widener University is seeking a highly qualified Associate Professor in Education to join our faculty. As a key member of our academic team, you will be responsible for teaching, research, and service.
Responsibilities:- Teach courses on campus and online, including graduate-level courses in Counselor Education.
- Serve as the Graduate Program Director for the Master of Counselor Education Program.
- Contribute to scholarship through presentations and/or publications.
- Maintain currency in the academic discipline through continuing study, professional development, and/or participation in professional activities.
- Pursue service and leadership opportunities within the Program, Center, College, University, and profession.
- Master's degree in Counselor Education or a related field from an accredited college or university.
- Doctoral degree in Counselor Education or a related field from an accredited college or university preferred.
- Experience, qualifications, and record of teaching excellence and scholarship for faculty appointment at the Associate Professor rank.
- Experience in higher education in recruitment and retention of students.
