Dyslexia Specialist

Olentangy Schools is seeking a highly skilled Dyslexia Specialist to join our team. The successful candidate will provide essential services to our students, staff, and families, ensuring they receive the support they need to succeed.
Key Responsibilities:- Develop and implement a comprehensive screening process to identify students who require dyslexia support.
- Maintain and monitor the Dyslexia Screener to ensure its effectiveness.
- Design and deliver Orton-Gillingham (OG) teacher training and practicums at various levels of certification.
- Collaborate with RTI and IEP teams to provide targeted support to students.
- Supervise the placement of private OG tutors to ensure high-quality support.
- Provide ongoing resources and support to staff, families, and professionals impacted by dyslexia.
- Enhance communication with District Administration regarding dyslexia expectations and resources.
