At 3R Truck Service, we are seeking a highly skilled Dyslexia Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our organization, this individual will play a critical role in providing support to our students, staff, and families.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Comprehensive Screening Process: Develop and implement a comprehensive screening process to ensure students are readers, with a focus on early identification and intervention.
  2. Dyslexia Screener Maintenance: Maintain and monitor the Dyslexia Screener, ensuring its accuracy and effectiveness in identifying students with dyslexia.
  3. Training and Development: Develop and maintain Associate and Certified Orton-Gillingham (OG) training materials, providing ongoing support to staff in their professional development.
  4. Teacher Training and Support: Provide Orton-Gillingham (OG) teacher training and practicums at various levels of certification, ensuring that staff have the necessary skills to support students with dyslexia.
  5. Building Capacity: Work with district administrators to develop a plan to have certified OG intervention staff in all district school buildings, ensuring that students receive consistent support.
  6. Staff Support: Serve as a resource to staff, providing guidance and support in their work with students with dyslexia.
  7. Communication and Collaboration: Collaborate with district administrators, families, and professionals impacted by dyslexia to improve communication and ensure that expectations and resources are aligned.
  8. Tutor Placement: Supervise the placement of private OG tutors, ensuring that students receive high-quality support.
  9. RTI and IEP Support: Collaborate with RTI and IEP teams to ensure that students with dyslexia receive comprehensive support and services.
