Dyslexia Specialist

Olentangy Schools is seeking a highly skilled Dyslexia Specialist to provide comprehensive support to students, staff, and families. The successful candidate will be responsible for:
Key Responsibilities:- Develop and implement a comprehensive screening process to ensure students are reading at grade level.
- Maintain and monitor the Dyslexia Screener to ensure accurate assessments.
- Design and deliver Orton-Gillingham (OG) teacher training and practicums at various levels of certification.
- Collaborate with RTI and IEP teams to provide targeted support to students.
- Supervise placement of private OG tutors to ensure high-quality support.
- Provide ongoing resources and support to staff to enhance their knowledge and skills.
- Communicate effectively with District Administration to ensure alignment with district goals and expectations.
- Collaborate with families and professionals impacted by dyslexia to provide comprehensive support.
