At 3R Truck Service, we are seeking a highly skilled Dyslexia Intervention Specialist to join our team. The successful candidate will provide comprehensive support to our students, staff, and families by implementing a range of services, including:

  1. Comprehensive Screening Process: Develop and maintain a thorough screening process to ensure students are reading at their optimal level.
  2. Dyslexia Screener Maintenance: Regularly update and monitor the Dyslexia Screener to ensure its effectiveness.
  3. Training and Development: Create and maintain Associate and Certified Orton-Gillingham training materials to support staff development.
  4. Orton-Gillingham Training: Provide training and practicums at various levels of certification to ensure staff are equipped to support students with dyslexia.
  5. Monitoring and Evaluation: Regularly monitor the district's goal to have certified Orton-Gillingham intervention staff in all school buildings.
  6. Staff Support: Offer ongoing support to staff to ensure they have the necessary resources to support students with dyslexia.
  7. Communication and Collaboration: Collaborate with district administration, families, and professionals to improve communication and expectations related to dyslexia.
  8. Private Tutor Placement: Supervise the placement of private Orton-Gillingham tutors to ensure students receive the support they need.
  9. RTI and IEP Teams: Collaborate with Response to Intervention (RTI) and Individualized Education Program (IEP) teams to ensure students receive comprehensive support.
