As a Disability Assessor at Maven Consulting Group Ltd, you will embark on a challenging yet rewarding career path. You will work independently, assessing individuals with various disabilities and health conditions, and producing high-quality reports that inform benefit eligibility decisions.

A key aspect of this role is your capacity to build rapport with claimants and other stakeholders. You will need to demonstrate empathy, active listening, and excellent interpersonal skills to ensure seamless communication throughout the assessment process. Your attention to detail and organizational abilities will be critical in managing multiple cases simultaneously and meeting deadlines.

The ideal candidate will possess a strong foundation in healthcare, ideally with 1 year or more of post-registration experience as an NMC registered nurse or HCPC qualified Physiotherapist, Paramedic, or Occupational Therapist. You should be proficient in IT systems and have a solid understanding of relevant laws and regulations governing disability benefits. A background in case management or a related field would be beneficial, but not essential. With a starting salary of £40,000pa, plus flexible working options, annual leave, and bank holidays, this role offers a competitive compensation package and opportunities for professional growth.
