Role Overview

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a skilled Front Desk Ambassador to join our dynamic Front of House team at the prestigious The Lowry Hotel in Manchester.

This guest-facing role involves working as part of a close-knit team, ensuring all guests receive a warm and personalized welcome throughout their stay. As a key ambassador for the hotel, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional customer service, responding to guest requests, and maintaining the highest standards of professionalism and courtesy.

Key Responsibilities
  • Receive, register, and room guests on arrival, ensuring a seamless and efficient check-in process.
  • Provide exceptional customer service, responding to guest requests and resolving any issues in a timely and professional manner.
  • Work collaboratively with the Front of House team to maintain a high level of service standards and ensure a positive guest experience.
  • Operate cash handling and cashiering systems, maintaining accurate records and adhering to hotel policies and procedures.
  • Participate in ongoing training and development to enhance skills and knowledge, ensuring compliance with hotel standards and best practices.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will possess:

  • Previous experience in a similar role, preferably in a high-end hotel environment.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with guests and colleagues.
  • A strong focus on delivering exceptional customer service, with a passion for ensuring guest satisfaction.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple tasks and priorities with ease.
  • Basic computer skills and knowledge of hotel software systems, preferably Opera.
