About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Senior Support Worker to join our team in Cheshire and Wirral. As a Senior Support Worker, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality support to individuals with mental health needs, working closely with our multidisciplinary teams to deliver effective care and support.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide person-centred support to individuals with mental health needs, promoting independence and well-being.
  • Work collaboratively with our teams to develop and implement care plans, ensuring the needs of service users are met.
  • Contribute to the development and delivery of training programs, sharing your expertise and knowledge with colleagues.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives, identifying areas for improvement and contributing to the development of solutions.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A strong understanding of mental health policy and practice, with experience of working in a mental health environment.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with service users, carers, and colleagues.
  • A commitment to delivering high-quality care and support, with a focus on promoting independence and well-being.
  • Ability to work flexibly, including evenings and weekends, as required.
