About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Senior Support Worker to join our First Response Service in Cheshire and the Wirral. As a Senior Support Worker, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality support to individuals experiencing mental health crises.

Key Responsibilities

  • Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams to provide comprehensive support to individuals in crisis
  • Develop and implement personalized care plans to meet the unique needs of each individual
  • Provide emotional support and guidance to individuals and their families
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of service policies and procedures
  • Participate in training and professional development opportunities to enhance skills and knowledge

Requirements

  • NVQ level 3 in Health or Social Care or equivalent qualification
  • Evidence of training in psychosocial interventions or willingness to undertake training
  • Experience working in a mental health environment, particularly in crisis settings
  • Ability to communicate complex and sensitive information with empathy and reassurance
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
