Nuclear Health Physicist Job Description:

Rullion is recruiting a Nuclear Health Physicist to lead our radiation protection efforts. In this critical role, you will develop and implement strategies to minimize radiation exposure risks in various environments.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Design and implement radiation protection plans
  2. Conduct risk assessments and provide recommendations
  3. Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure compliance with regulations
  4. Develop and deliver training programs on radiation safety
  5. Maintain accurate records and reports

Requirements:

  • SC clearance (or ability to obtain)
  • Minimum of 3 years' experience as a health physics monitor
  • Relevant certifications (e.g., City & Guilds level 1 Radiation Protection or NVQ level 2)

Compensation and Benefits:

Enjoy a salary range of £40,000-£45,000 per annum, depending on your experience. This permanent role offers a 37-hour workweek, Monday to Friday, in various locations across Cumbria and the UK.
