Job Overview

This exciting opportunity is open to anyone seeking to develop their management skills while completing a Level 5 Operations/Departmental Manager Apprenticeship (2 years 6 months course). The Health Records Department is embarking on a digitalisation programme for The Trust's paper patient records, including the deployment of the Trust's Scanning Bureau based at Kingmoor Park.

Main Responsibilities
  • Managing staff to ensure sufficient capacity to meet operational demands
  • Preparing high-quality documents in preparation for scanning
  • Scanning documents with precision and accuracy
  • Ensuring information is stored in line with naming conventions in the EDRMS
  • Maintaining a continual improvement journey in accordance with health record keeping standards via the Health Records Code of Practice and relevant BSI standards
  • Verifying data quality of images and documentation within the Electronic Document Management system and reporting discrepancies to the Digital Health Records Audit and Data Quality Lead
