Electrical Technician Role

We are seeking a skilled Electrical Technician to join our team at Mpac Lambert, where you will play a crucial role in the electrical build, wiring, and testing of special purpose automation.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design, build, and test electrical systems, ensuring compliance with Mpac Lambert's standards and documentation.
  • Collaborate with senior electrical technicians, supervisors, and project teams to resolve issues and deliver projects efficiently.
  • Accurately record time and rework/non-value time, contributing to continuous improvement efforts.
  • Participate in machine site installations and set-ups in the UK or abroad.
  • Support apprentice development and contribute to a culture of excellence.
Requirements
  • Proven ability to work independently or as part of a multi-technical team.
  • Experience in electrical engineering, with a strong understanding of low-voltage systems, analogue and digital IO, and automation systems.
  • Proficient with schematics, problem-solving, and IT skills for shop floor computer terminals.
  • ONC/BTEC/City and Guilds in a relevant electrical/mechatronic engineering discipline.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
