About the Role
\We are seeking a skilled Electrical and Instrumentation Technician to join our team at BYK Additives Ltd. in Widnes, Cheshire.
\The successful candidate will be responsible for providing electrical and instrumentation support for the production department, working as part of a multi-discipline team that operates and maintains the BYK Widnes facility.
\As a key member of our shift team, you will be required to undertake planned maintenance and overhaul of plant equipment and site facilities, with tasks primarily based around a daily schedule.
\You will also be responsible for reactive repair of plant equipment and site facilities, installing new equipment and modifications to existing items, and carrying out E&I testing, inspection, calibration, and reporting of plant condition.

- E&I testing, inspection, calibration, and reporting of plant condition\
- To operate within site maintenance team, communicating with other staff of relevant groups to determine task needs, priorities, and time frames\
- To use CMMS to record task history, and to brief other maintenance staff for job continuity\
- To be proactive in maintaining and developing knowledge and skill to meet needs of the position\

Salary and Benefits
\We offer a competitive salary of £35,000-£45,000 per annum, depending on experience, plus a range of benefits including participation in a site bonus scheme and company pension scheme after a qualifying period.
