Role Summary
We are looking for a highly skilled Master Technician for Commercial Vehicles to join our team at Irish Commercials. This role involves undertaking maintenance and repair activities on commercial vehicles/trailers, diagnosing faults, carrying out tests, and effecting permanent repairs.
Shift Details
A 4 on 4 off night shift pattern is available at Trafford Park, offering a great work-life balance.
Key Responsibilities
- Completing paperwork and procedures for warranty, contract, and retail work.
- Preventative maintenance to minimize unnecessary customer costs.
Requirements
- A City & Guilds or equivalent qualification to NVQ level 3 in Heavy Vehicle Maintenance is required.
- Experience in vehicle diagnosis, servicing, maintenance, and repair; commercial vehicle experience is necessary.
- Manufacturer's training and knowledge of work methods and technical data.
- A full and current UK driving licence; an HGV licence is preferred.
Benefits Package
We offer competitive rates of pay and benefits including weekly pay, company sick pay, personal pension, death in service benefit, cycle to work scheme, and enhanced paternity and maternity benefits. The estimated salary for this role is around £45,000-£55,000 per annum, based on experience and location.
