About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Support Worker to join our team at a reputable Special Needs School in Cambridge. The successful candidate will work closely with teachers to support students with special educational needs, providing one-on-one care and implementing behavior management strategies.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with teachers to cater to individual student requirements
  • Assist students during classroom activities, ensuring their engagement and understanding
  • Provide personal care and Social Emotional support to students with complex needs
  • Implement effective behavior management strategies to maintain a positive learning environment

Requirements:

  • A genuine passion for working with students with special educational needs
  • Excellent communication skills and adaptability to varying student needs
  • Minimum 1 year of experience working in a school or care setting in the UK (Mandatory)
  • Proficiency in English Language (Mandatory)
  • Right to Work in the UK (No Sponsorship Provided. Candidates on Skilled Worker Visa are not eligible for this position)
