Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Learning Support Assistant to join our team at Career Teachers. As a Learning Support Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting the class teacher in developing the learning of all pupils and at times working with individual children on a 1:1 basis.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the class teacher in developing the learning of all pupils
  • Work with individual children on a 1:1 basis to support their academic and personal development
  • Assist with the planning and preparation of lessons and activities
  • Monitor and record pupil progress and provide feedback to the class teacher
  • Contribute to the creation of a supportive and inclusive learning environment

Requirements:

  • Good academic background
  • Ability to manage groups of children and possess great behaviour management skills
  • Excellent communication skills - spoken and written
  • Good organisation skills
