Job Summary: We are seeking an experienced emotional support team lead to join our team at Witherslack Group as a Pastoral Care Manager. The successful candidate will lead our pastoral care team, providing support and guidance to students who require additional help with their emotional and behavioural needs.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the pastoral care team to ensure effective delivery of programmes and interventions that meet the needs of our students
  • Work closely with teaching and therapeutic staff to provide comprehensive support to students
  • Develop and maintain relationships with families and carers to ensure seamless communication and collaboration
  • Assess and address student needs, developing individualised plans to promote positive outcomes

Required Qualifications and Experience

  • Minimum 3 years' experience working with children with ASC, ADHD or SEMH
  • NVQ 3 in Care or Level 2 Teaching Assistant Qualification
  • Leadership related qualification desirable
  • Possitive Behaviour Support (PBS) certification
