About the Role

Rendcomb College is seeking an experienced Healthcare Assistant to join their dedicated team. This part-time position requires someone who can work flexibly, providing support to the registered nurses and assisting with various tasks in the medical centre.

Key Responsibilities
  • Work closely with registered nurses to deliver high-quality nursing care and first aid services.
  • Assist with nurse drop-in clinics, providing basic first aid advice and emergency care as necessary.
  • Signpost pupils and staff to relevant health services, maintaining confidentiality and adhering to safeguarding guidelines.
Requirements
  • Experience working in a healthcare setting, preferably in a school or similar environment.
  • Ability to work flexibly, including evenings, weekends, and bank holidays.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with pupils and staff.

Estimated salary: £27,000 - £32,000 per annum, dependent on experience.
