About the Role:
We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Relief Care Assistant to join our team at McCarthy Stone's Balshaw Court estate in Leyland. As a Relief Care Assistant, you will provide exceptional care and support to our residents, enabling them to live their later years with dignity and independence.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver high-quality individual care to residents, including housekeeping and domestic support.
- Support and encourage residents to participate in activities that promote their health and wellbeing.
- Assist with daily tasks, such as booking appointments, arranging transport, and escorting residents on visits.
- Provide emotional support and companionship to residents.
Requirements:
- Experience working in a care or support environment.
- Passion for making a difference to the wellbeing and happiness of older people.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work as part of a team in a busy work setting.
