About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Reviews Team Leader to coordinate and supervise the work of 2 Reviews officers. As part of our major new Homelessness Transformation Programme, you will ensure that the team provides high-quality and legally compliant processing of all review requests, issuing decisions within required timescales.

Key Responsibilities

  • Coordinate and supervise the work of 2 Reviews officers
  • Manage a portfolio of review cases
  • Allocate casework to team members and ensure that all workloads are managed to deliver optimum efficiency and meet the team's targets
  • Ensure that the team provides high-quality and legally compliant processing of all review requests

Requirements

  • Good leadership skills and experience of managing a team in a public sector organisation
  • Confident and experienced, with the ability to manage a team working under high demand
  • Knowledge of housing and homelessness legislation, as well as related laws and case law
