Supporting Young People with SEMH Needs

We are seeking a highly organised and experienced teaching assistant to support young people with social, emotional, and mental health difficulties in a non-maintained special school in Warrington.
About the Role:This is a temporary, full-time position with potential for permanence. As a SEMH Support Professional, you will work closely with teachers to provide individualised support and promote positive relationships and behaviour among students.
Key Responsibilities:- Deliver targeted interventions to support students' SEMH needs.
- Assist teachers with lesson planning, delivery, and student progress monitoring.
- At least two years' experience supporting children with SEMH needs.
- Strong knowledge of the UK national curriculum and SEN best practices.
- Enhanced DBS on the update service or willingness to undertake a new disclosure.
- Top rates of pay up to £22,000 per annum, depending on experience.
