Payroll and Benefits Administrator

AerFin is a dynamic company that buys, sells, leases, and repairs aircraft, engines, and parts. We are seeking an experienced Payroll and Benefits Specialist to join our team in Newport. This role involves managing payroll and benefits, ensuring compliance, and improving systems and processes to increase efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure accurate employee data within the HRIS system (HiBob), including starters, leavers, and any updates or changes to employee information.
- Support the payroll process by entering data properly into the system and ensure compliance with payroll regulations.
- Administer employee benefits programs, including health insurance, retirement plans, and other benefits, liaising with providers as needed.
- Oversee payroll and benefits reporting, generating necessary reports, and ensuring data accuracy. Flag any discrepancies to the payroll management provider (ADP) for resolution.
- Act as a point of contact for employees regarding payroll-related questions or discrepancies, providing clear and prompt responses.
- Manage transformation to an ADP system, including data cleansing, collection, and entry, to ensure a smooth and accurate transition.
- Manage payroll mailbox requests.
- Ensure all payroll and benefits processes are compliant with current regulations, conducting regular audits to maintain data integrity and accuracy.
- Using data to evaluate benefit usage and employee satisfaction, and to make informed decisions about new offerings.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in HRIS systems, payroll, and benefits administration.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to data accuracy.
- Experience with HRIS and payroll software (e.g., HiBob and ADP).
- Knowledge of UK payroll and benefits regulations is essential, with experience in international payroll being highly beneficial.
- A-level qualification or higher, with a certification in payroll (e.g., CIPP).
- Strong relationship-building abilities.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Project management experience is a plus.
