Job Summary

Mech Electrics Limited is seeking an experienced Electrical Project Manager to lead the electrical side of a new build project for a pharmaceutical company. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the project from start to finish, ensuring successful delivery of the electrical and mechanical services.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage the electrical side of the project, including medical gases, air handling units, air conditioning, clean water and deionized water systems, intelligent lighting and daylight dimming systems, and general electrical and mechanical services.
  • Work closely with the client on-site and manage the project from start to finish, ensuring successful delivery by the project deadline.
  • Develop and manage project budgets, ensuring effective cost management and control.
  • Collaborate with the project team, including the visiting Contracts Manager and the permanent on-site Mechanical Engineer, to ensure successful project delivery.
  • Provide strong client-facing skills, excellent commercial awareness, and the ability to manage a project from cradle to grave.

Requirements

  • Proven experience as an Electrical Project Manager, preferably on large-scale commercial projects.
  • Strong understanding of electrical and mechanical systems, including medical gases, air handling units, air conditioning, intelligent lighting, and water systems.
  • Excellent client management and communication skills, with the ability to foster strong client relationships.
  • Strong commercial acumen and the ability to manage project budgets effectively.
  • Ability to demonstrate a track record of delivering projects on time and within budget.
