The Company

CV Library is working with a well-established building services company to find a skilled Electrical Project Manager to join their team.

The Role and its Responsibilities

  • Manage the electrical side of new build of offices and laboratory facilities for approximately 200 staff.
  • Focus on medical gases, air handling units, air conditioning, clean water and deionized water systems, intelligent lighting and daylight dimming systems, and general electrical and mechanical services.

The Project

The project is currently in the build phase under a JCT contract with a well-regarded main contractor. The Electrical Project Manager will be client-facing, working closely with the client on-site and managing the project from start to finish, ensuring successful delivery.

The Ideal Candidate

  • Seasoned Electrical Project Manager with extensive experience managing projects of a similar scale and complexity.
  • Strong client-facing skills, excellent commercial awareness, and the ability to manage a project from cradle to grave.

Key Skills and Qualifications

  • Proven experience as an Electrical Project Manager, preferably on large-scale commercial projects.
  • Strong understanding of electrical and mechanical systems, including medical gases, AHUs, AC, intelligent lighting, and water systems.
  • Excellent client management and communication skills, with the ability to foster strong client relationships.
  • Strong commercial acumen and the ability to manage project budgets effectively.
  • Ability to demonstrate a track record of delivering projects on time and within budget.
