Data Platforms Manager

We are seeking a skilled Data Platforms Manager to join our IT department at Sherwin-Williams UK. This role is an inward-facing manager, organizer, and facilitator who will work within the project and collaborate with the rest of the project team.
This individual will be responsible for facilitating team activities, developing and tracking metrics, and reporting all project activities for a delivery team. They will also oversee the full project lifecycle, from requirements gathering to deployment, while managing risks, timelines, and budgets.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in technology and business, covering strategy, design, implementation, and operations in application development. They will be proficient in Agile project management methodologies and development patterns, with knowledge of solution architecture, design, and databases (SQL, Oracle).
The Data Platforms Manager will also be responsible for promoting team culture and accountability, providing mentorship, and fostering open communication with both internal and external stakeholders. They will use project management tools (e.g., Jira, Planview) to track team performance and ensure quality through process monitoring.
