Job Description

The Area Sales Manager will play a critical role in driving sales growth and expanding our market share. This individual will be responsible for managing a territory that includes multiple locations, identifying new business opportunities, and developing strategies to increase sales revenue.

Responsibilities
  1. Territory Management: Manage and optimize sales activities within a designated territory, including identifying new business opportunities and developing strategies to increase sales revenue.
  2. Customer Engagement: Build and maintain strong relationships with existing customers, providing excellent customer service and addressing their needs in a timely and professional manner.
  3. Product Knowledge: Stay up-to-date on product knowledge for all key brands, conducting product demonstrations and providing expert advice to customers.
  4. Quotations and Recommendations: Accurately quote and recommend machinery solutions tailored to customer requirements, ensuring that customers receive the best possible solution for their needs.
  5. Delivery and Compliance: Ensure timely, compliant product delivery in alignment with company and manufacturer standards.
  6. Record Keeping: Keep accurate, GDPR-compliant records on customer interactions and sales processes.
Requirements
  • Sales-Driven Individual: Highly motivated to achieve and exceed sales targets.
  • Industry Knowledge: Experience in groundcare or related industries preferred.
  • Proven Sales Success: Previous sales experience with a record of achieving targets is desirable.
  • Relationship Builder: Excellent skills in customer relationship management, with integrity and transparency.
  • Essential Requirement: Full UK driver's licence.
