Key Responsibilities- Provide timely and accurate onsite/on-call assistance to end-users within the organization's desktop computing environment.
- Coordinate and manage desktop support activities, including troubleshooting, repair, and maintenance of desktop computers, laptops, and peripherals.
- Build and install PCs, telephone systems, wireless networks, and peripheral devices related to desktop infrastructure.
- Maintain installed PCs, networks, telephone systems, and peripherals with routine maintenance.
- Identify, log, and resolve technical problems with software applications or network systems.
- Collaborate with Technology team members to ensure efficient operation of the organization's desktop computing environment.
- Administer and resolve issues with associated end-user workstation network software products.
- Receive and respond to incoming calls, messages, and/or work orders regarding desktop problems.
- Expertise in supporting network devices and servers in business environments.
- Ensure that work is carried out within agreed service levels and in accordance with project guidelines.
- Explain and document technical issues in a clear way to technical teams, and business stakeholders.
- At least 5+ years of relevant experience in desktop support.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively.
- Proven track record of working with technologies from Microsoft SCCM, VMWare Horizon, Intune, etc.
- Hands-on experience in End-to-end Desktop/Laptop life cycle management.
- Experience and desire to work in a Global delivery environment.
- Strong customer service ethic and great communication skills, both oral and written.
- PC/Laptop OEM Maintenance Certification.
- CompTIA A+ Certification.
- Microsoft Certified IT Professional (MCITP) certification in the desktop area.
- Microsoft Office Specialist (MOS) Certification.
