Adult Social Care is seeking a Programme Manager to drive transformational change

Our Adult Social Care and Public Health Transforming Social Care Programme aims to integrate health and care, improve our social care operating model, support local care markets to be more sustainable, have a high performing internal and external workforce, and accelerate digital innovation.
About the RoleThe Programme Manager will oversee and be responsible for the overall delivery of the programme of work, including component workstreams and project delivery resources. The role will report day to day to the Assistant Director Assurance and Innovation and work closely with the Head of Transformation and Digital, several Project Managers, a Project Officer and wider project stakeholders.
The Programme Manager will have extensive experience of programme and project management, and a working understanding of adult social care. Key responsibilities include:
- Developing and implementing programme and project management methodologies
- Managing a diverse team of delivery resources
- Engaging with a complex stakeholder landscape to deliver change successfully
- Delivering overall outcomes to time and budget
The Programme Manager will be responsible for establishing connections and credibility with senior stakeholders, designing, planning and scoping projects and programmes, and influencing, negotiating and persuading in challenging circumstances.
We are looking for a motivated Programme Manager with experience across health and social care who can bring robust project and programme methodologies to deliver change successfully.
