About The Role

We are offering a competitive salary package in excess of £120,000 per annum for this exciting opportunity. As Director of Pricing and Investments, you will be responsible for commercial and fair value pricing individual annuities and equity release mortgages.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and lead a pricing team to ensure accurate valuation of individual annuities and equity release mortgages
  • Work closely with the investments team to ensure alignment with asset management strategies
  • Monitor market trends and competitor pricing strategies to inform business decisions
  • Analyse data and develop models to provide insights into competitor pricing
  • Collaborate with distribution teams to expand and improve pricing MI
  • Oversee the development of actuarial techniques and modelling to solve business challenges
  • Manage senior stakeholders across multiple disciplines to drive business outcomes
About You

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • A qualified actuary or equivalent experience in a commercially driven pricing function
  • Commercially driven management skills, with experience of building high-performing teams
  • Knowledge of UK Individual Annuity and Equity Release Mortgage markets
  • Strong analytical and influencing skills
  • Understanding of actuarial techniques and modelling
