Digital Infrastructure Investment Director

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Investment Director to join our Digital Infrastructure team. The successful candidate will be responsible for covering our Asset Management division's digital infrastructure private equity strategy, including investment strategy, reporting, team, and fundraising.

  • This role will involve working on the overall strategy which covers the following sectors: data centres, fibre, wireless infrastructure, and digital focused service businesses.
  • The Investment Director will be engaged in individual equity investments of €50-200m taking minority to majority stakes.
  • Responsibilities will include transaction execution, either as the lead or with the MD on new investments, bolt-ons, refinancings, and exits.
  • The ideal candidate will have good Asset Management knowledge, with previous experience managing portfolio companies, attending and/or sitting on portfolio company boards.
Requirements

We are looking for a candidate with significant experience in an investment role covering at least one or more digital infrastructure sub sectors. The ideal candidate will have demonstrable transaction experience with a strong track record in one or more digital infrastructure sub sectors, with the ability to manage and lead the transaction and team.

The position will be EU focused, and so it is expected that the Investment Director will be fluent in at least one of the following languages: German, French, Spanish, Italian.
