Senior Speech and Language Therapist

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Speech and Language Therapist to join our specialist Stroke and Neurology team at Doncaster and Bassetlaw Teaching Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust. As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and rehabilitation services.
Main Duties and ResponsibilitiesThe successful candidate will have specialist experience and post-basic qualification in dysphagia, with a flexible and proactive approach to working. You will be responsible for delivering specialist assessments and treatments, supporting the Clinical Lead and existing Senior Speech and Language Therapists, and contributing to the education, training, and development of the MDT. You will also undertake PDA's and service evaluation, including audit, and work closely with the wider Adult SLT Service.
Person SpecificationThe ideal candidate will have a professional specific degree, a Certificate to Practise, and membership of the Royal College of Speech and Language Therapists and the Healthcare Professions Council. You will also have recognised formal training or competencies in relevant specialisms, such as post-basic dysphagia training and full competencies in cognitive neuropsychology approach, dysphasia, dyspraxia, and dysarthria assessment and management.
