About the Role
We are seeking an experienced and enthusiastic individual to join our team as a Receptionist/Administrator at Welbeck Surgery. This is a full-time position with a weekly shift pattern, and flexibility with compressing hours over 4 days is possible.
Main Responsibilities
- Manage the reception desk to ensure clinics run smoothly and efficiently.
- Provide excellent customer service skills, both over the phone and face-to-face.
- Prioritize daily work to ensure all tasks are completed in a timely fashion.
- Receiving patients and visitors courteously and efficiently.
- Undertake a variety of administrative duties.
- Workflow support with appropriate coding.
- Attend team training events as part of ongoing development.

Welbeck Surgery is a friendly practice aiming to provide the best patient-centred care to our community. We are a small and cohesive team committed to working together in a happy, supportive working environment.
This role will greet, assist, and direct patients in accessing the appropriate service or healthcare professional in a courteous, efficient, and effective way. You will provide general assistance to the Practice team and project a positive and friendly image to patients and visitors, both in person and over the phone. Additional responsibilities include a variety of administrative tasks to assist in the smooth running of the practice.
Key Skills and Qualifications
- Experience of using SystmOne.
- Experience of working in a healthcare setting.
- Experience of administrative duties.
- GCSE level or equivalent education.
- GCSE Mathematics and English (C or above).
