About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and enthusiastic Receptionist/Administrator to join our team at Welbeck Surgery. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the reception desk, ensuring clinics run smoothly and efficiently.

Main Responsibilities

  • Manage the reception desk and ensure clinics run smoothly and efficiently
  • Provide excellent customer service skills, both over the phone and face to face
  • Prioritize daily work to ensure all tasks are completed in a timely fashion
  • Receiving patients and visitors courteously and efficiently
  • Undertake a variety of administrative duties
  • Workflow support with appropriate coding
  • Attend team training events as part of ongoing development

About Us

Welbeck Surgery is a friendly practice aiming to provide the best patient-centred care to our community of approximately 5000 patients. We are a small and cohesive team committed to working together in a happy, supportive working environment.

This role will greet, assist and direct patients in accessing the appropriate service or healthcare professional in a courteous, efficient and effective way. You will provide general assistance to the Practice team and project a positive and friendly image to patients and visitors, both in person and over the phone. Additional responsibilities include a variety of administrative tasks to assist in the smooth running of the practice.

Key Skills and Qualifications

  • Experience of using SystmOne
  • Experience of working in a healthcare setting
  • Experience of administrative duties
  • GCSE Mathematics and English (C or above)
