About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated individual to join our team as a Sustainability Specialist. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to our ambitious journey to Net-Zero and play a key role in delivering our Scope 3 Carbon Reduction Strategy.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the analysis and management of carbon and climate data, including Scope 3 emissions, to inform business decisions and drive sustainability initiatives.
  • Engage with internal stakeholders, including buying, real estate, and national supply chain teams, to promote sustainability and reduce greenhouse gas emissions.
  • Collaborate with international teams to develop and implement carbon reduction strategies and projects.
  • Work with multiple data capturing systems to track and report greenhouse gas emissions.
  • Present complex data insights to stakeholders in a clear and engaging manner.
  • Manage multiple projects and deadlines, prioritizing tasks and ensuring timely delivery.
  • Provide administrative support to the team as needed.
Requirements
  • Experience in greenhouse gas emissions and carbon accounting, with knowledge of key standards such as the GHG Protocol Corporate Standard and SBTi Flag Guidance.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex data and communicate insights effectively.
  • Excellent stakeholder engagement and relationship-building skills, with the ability to work with internal and external stakeholders at all levels.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel and other data analysis tools.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing multiple tasks and deadlines.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.

  • A competitive salary of £36,080 rising to £42,135.
  • A Monday to Friday, 8am to 5pm schedule, with the opportunity for 2 days of remote working.
