Academic Coach for Children

We are seeking a qualified and experienced Learning Mentor to join our team from January 2025.
As a Learning Mentor, you will play a vital role in helping children overcome barriers to learning and achieve their full potential.
About the RoleKey Responsibilities:
- Provide one-to-one and small group support to students who may be struggling academically, socially, or emotionally.
- Encourage positive behaviour and self-esteem in students, using a range of techniques and strategies.
- Work closely with teachers and SENCO to identify students who need additional support and develop tailored learning plans.
Requirements:
- Previous experience working with children, ideally in a primary school setting.
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to build effective relationships with children, staff, and parents.
- A caring, empathetic, and patient approach to working with children.
The salary for this position is £12.90 - £13.50 per hour.
