We are seeking a highly skilled Specialist Support Worker to join our team at Service Care Recruit. As a Specialist Support Worker, you will be responsible for delivering person-centered support to vulnerable clients within our supported and sheltered schemes.
Key Responsibilities- Deliver Positive Outcomes: Provide tailored support packages addressing cultural and diversity needs, ensuring empowerment and independence for clients.
- Support Client Needs: Assist clients with tenancy issues, rent payments, and accessing benefits, promoting client involvement and encouraging participation in the support process.
- Conduct Referrals and Assessments: Conduct referrals and assessments for potential clients, helping them set goals and achieve positive outcomes through tailored support plans.
- Maintain Accurate Records: Maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with health and safety standards.
- Experience: Previous experience in a similar role, working with vulnerable client groups.
- Skills: Proven ability to deliver structured support in housing or social care, strong IT skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office, and a commitment to continuous professional development.
- Knowledge: Knowledge of safeguarding policies and equality standards.
- Hours: 22.5 hours per week, with a mix of early and late shifts, including two working weekends in a 6-week rota.
- Contract Length: 6 months, with the possibility of extension.
